Rest In Peace, Sharon.

Life is unpredictable. My host-mum in Penticton passed away in the beginning of the year. I just heard it from another friend and it's very sad that she has left us.

Sharon, my host-mum, was a fabulous hostess. She was a good audience and would listen to her guests sharing about different countries. She was a great gardener who grew lots of apples in garden and shared with all the students to the trip. As a host-mum, she prepared great meals for her host-children and everyone wowed when they saw the lunch boxes she prepared for our road trip. She was also a great actress and theatre member. I could still recall that she tried to learn German accent from Florian, a German student, in order to be more convincing in her play.

It's a great loss for her familiy members, friends, the Rotary Club in Penticton, and her host-children. I shall always remember you.
