During Feburary and March every year, Rhododendron would blossom all over NTU campus. Their renowned beauty has attracted many visitors all over the city.

I got lucky to be able to stand right in front of the firework and water dance show. However, as a 2-edged sword, even though I got great views watching, it wasn't too good for photo-shooting since I am not able to get full view of the fantastic show.

For the past couple of years, after lunar new year vacation, people in Kaohsiung City are looking forwards to the grand celebration of lantern festival on the banks of Love River. This year, a 7-minutes firework with water dance show is held at 9 every night on the sea near Glory Pier.

I came across the first eagle statue while trying to locate SLAIS' reception for ASIS&T 2009 at BC Lion's Club. As for the 2nd one, I met it on the way back to the SkyTrain Station on Burrard St.. I took a turn back in order to take its photos.

Penticton is a small town in inner British Columbia. Each year, the Rotary Club and the International House of UBC would co-host a 3-day home-stay trip for selected few lucky UBC students. Students who are interested in participating the trip need to fill out a form in the beginning of the term and hand it in to the office. The office would then choose some students to participate and hold a pre-briefing to prepare students what to look forwards to.

I have to thank Daisy, a fellow student living at Gage, for telling me about this piece of information, and I am glad you're chosen as well. I met great friends during the trip, and it's a fabulous memory that I would cherish forever.
