It's the end of the term. Some of the Penticton Trip fellows are going back to their countries since their exchange term has ended. Christine, Jaya, Liz and Miriam suggested that we should have a farewell dinner before leaving. About half of the group came. We dined at a Korean restaurant downtown with 2 Korean friends to suggest what we should order.

Where: Sura Korean Cuisine

             1518 Robson Street, Vancouver, B.C. V6G1C2

(It is approved by our Korean friends that the restaurant provides real Korean food. And about 80% of the customers that night were Koreans.)

Personal Rating: 4.5 stars (out of 5) [the food is good with reasonable price, around 15 or less, depend on the dishes]

Soup with soybean sprout

Lessons learned:

(1) Not all Korean food is spicy.

(2) Korean chopsticks should be flatter, but the restaurant does not provide flat chopsticks.

(3) Beef plays an important role in Korean dishes.
