Nikujaga is a kind of Japanese dish, which is the stew of meat, onions, and potatoes with soy sauce. Beef is normally used in the dish, but this version is with a chicken leg.

One of the sight-seeing spot the Rotary Club volunteers prepared for UBC students is Grist Mill and Gardens. It is about 40-minute drive from Penticton. The mill was built by Barrington Price in 1877. The owner there is trying hard to maintain the historic site. Unfortunately, there aren't enough visitors to keep the mill running these days.
